r-ALA..more harm than good?

i take 4 post workout (100mg each)..and it gives me the notion that i can eat copious amounts of food after.
my hunger just seems insatiable..

how much is too much? and does it matter seeing as im taking the r-ala and it post workout?
 
Wow....

Most I take at one time is 300mg, and that's WITH my pre and post-workout meals (1,200 cal each--well over 150 carb grams each). My total intake of r-ALA in a day is 1,000 mg. Don't have that problem.

Always better to take less than too much.
 
I don't like the heading to that thread! Makes it out like
R-Ala can cause harm, R-Ala works wonders when you know how to use it properly. Read up on some threads, there are so many about R-Ala and so many that tell you that r-ala is more potent than racemic and requires less dosage to achieve (more) desired results.. read read read!
 
why so much?, I take 600mg of regular ALA. When you say hunger, is it real carb cravings or a mental thing, that you think you can eat alot?
