If you drink any ready made shake and it says "Proprietary Protein" instead of for example 40g Protein you are pretty much being scammed.

All a proprietary blend means is that is it their "unique" blend of different types of protein...Meaning it can have whey, milk, soy, etc...and call it a "proprietray blend" of protein...This is how some companies get away with labeling protien as their first ingredient as opposed to something cheap like all the maltodextrin in there...
