Protein bars in a pinch

Guys,

I burned through my last set of Better Protein bars pretty fast and didn't want to wait the few days to get my next batch shipped so while I was waiting I decided to try and mimic them as close as possible for something to hold me over...

Here is what I used:

2 cups quick oats
1 cup non fat powdered milk
1 cup wheat flour
1/2 cup mixed nuts
1/4 cup dates
1/4 cup dried blueberries
~1/2 cup honey
8 tbsp Power Butter
24 tbsp natural peanut butter
1/2 cup to 1 cup water
12 scoops Rocky Road flavor Whey to Build Muscle protein
2 tsp vanilla extract

Directions:

Blend oats to fine powder
Slightly grate nuts in blender
Mix all dry ingredients in a bowl until evenly blended
Create a hole in the middle of the bowl and dump all the wet ingredients in
Cover the mess and stir with hand blender, or get a workout in and use a spoon!
Squeeze the protein bar-mess around in your hands until it is one big glob
Press onto cookie sheet and toss in the fridge (Left mine in for an hour)
Slice it up and enjoy!
I am estimating on my honey and water usage, I had to slowly add more as I mixed to make sure everything held correctly and wasn't too dry or wet.

I made 12 bars with mine, and wanted them to be a bit bigger and higher calories than the Better bars, they ended up about 1/2" thick, 6-7" long, and about 1.5" wide.

Macros:

40g protein
47.5g carbs
22.5g fat
534.5 total calories

If you can't eat that much, divide that up and you've got 24 bars with half the macros
