Excerpt: what is the verdict on peanut butter ? I'm hearing it isn't so healthy and i should watch out for it, i thought nuts were good for us? I ask because i started adding it to my shakes and i really like the texture and taste of it. i also use it on toast with my jam and it goes good with just about anything.

    peanut butter healthy?

    what is the verdict on peanut butter ? I'm hearing it isn't so healthy and i should watch out for it, i thought nuts were good for us? I ask because i started adding it to my shakes and i really like the texture and taste of it. i also use it on toast with my jam and it goes good with just about anything.

    stick to raw pure almond butter if you are into this stuff

    peanut butter in jars have a ton of garbage added to them. pure peanut butter is much less nutritious than actual nut butter. (peanuts aren't a nut anyway)

    also when you break down anything the nutrition drops. would much rather you eat raw nuts instead

    You will actually get more benefits from eating a variety of nuts. Peanuts would be on the lower quality end for me. I would rather see you eat raw nuts like almonds, macadamias, walnuts, pecans, etc.
