orange juice for my diet

I was wondering if OJ is loaded with sugar just like most of juices they sell in the market, do you think consuming 2 glasses a day would put any extra calories

Yes, that would definitely put more calories into your diet, and the worst of all, is that these calories will not aid you in getting your nutrients, and you will still feel hungry. In such case, it is better to have the real fruit, because at least this way you will be getting some healthy fiber.

Fruit juice contains just as much sugar as soda. Yes, it is natural sugar and it will contain some vitamins and nutrients along with it - but sugar is still sugar. It will spike insulin levels just as a regular can of pop would. Juice really isn't all that healthy.

Whole fruit on the other hand is a different story. It still has all the fibre intact and will be much more satiating and won't spike blood glucose levels.
