Does anybody know how to quickly recover from stomach upsets or have any old school tricks that arent in the doctors books

Ive read obviously plenty of rest, lots of fluids and replacing electrolytes are key and not eating for a few hours to let the stomach settle, or is this just a case of letting nature take its horrible course!

Not something I've had to really deal with. If this is a commonly recurring issue, it may be worth evaluating your diet.

all that is good advice except for 'lots of fluids'.. you want to sip a bit on water, maybe even gargle a bit with water then spit it out, but you def don't want to throw tons of water at your body or it will want to throw that back up

also activated charcoal will help settle the stomach. and i would go longer than a few hours without food. more like the entire day. we know that 24 hours of no food is the sweet spot for gut repair.
