My freind is doing this diet, what do you think? its a modified Crum Diet (I think)

It uses 2 instances when you eat carbs, the rest of the meals are composed of fiberous vegitables, and protien and fat.


1)Pre workout meal, cottage cheese, with 1 peach

CARBS=50 grams

2)Post workout, Oatmeal, Protien Powder, Glutamine

CARBS= 50 grams

3) Tuna, Greens, Oil

4) Tuna, Greens, Oil

5) Steak, Greens (no oil, fat in steak)

its just like Crumbs, except the fructose pre workout, what do you think?

WHY IS HE EATING FRUITS AND COTTAGE CHEESE BEFORE A WORKOUT, THAT DOES NOT MAKE SENSE

THIS ALL DEPENDS ON HIS STATS AND HIS GOALS, IT LOOK OK OVERALL, HE COULD JUST ADD ANOTHER MEAL TO INCREASE THE DIGESTION PROCESS

can you give some input then in regards to carbs?

one thing though,

he doeas not have access to dextrose/maltose as a source of carb ( you seem to recommend that)

can you give an alternative.

he works on a farm, and I have not seen him in 2 years, and he is YOKED, but he sould get a little more cut,

so what would be the best for pre workout, and post workout

There is NO best, but this might do............


1)Pre workout meal, 30 g protein, 20g dextrose.

2)Post workout, 40g dextrose, 40g protein, 200 mg R-ala

3) Tuna, Greens, Oil

4) Tuna, Greens, Oil

5) Steak, Greens (no oil, fat in steak)

*add: --assume close to bed--
6) 10g psyllium husk fiber, 1 large salad w/ 1tbsp. olive oil, 1 chicken breast.

man LOOKING at the first meal I completly agree, and the post meal as well,

but again, where is he going to get dextrose from?

Oats, fruit, sodas, bread, tortillas, corn/flour, cereals, potatoes-table sugar......hes on a farm!

Just tell him to order some dextrose online, I mean Jesus...he doesn't live in the Soviet Union, he live on a farm. They still deliver to a farm. The only other thing would be baked potatoes w/ out the skin.
