Alright, I was thinking more on what you said about bulking so extremely (3000+ cals, 300+ protein) being possibly unhealthy for the heart, and the constant ups & downs in weight (from bulking & cutting cycles).
So, my question to you is...
How would I go about making up a diet that I can basically keep consistant the whole year 'round? No cycles, just more slowly adding on mass, while keeping my heart in good shape. I know I'm young and don't have to worry much about it now, but I'd rather not dig myself an early grave.
Would I simply eat less calories/protein? Just get somewhere above maintenance, eat good, healthy sources of protein and fats? Nothing saturated, not too much sugars, etc.
I'm thinking somewhere around 2400 calories, 150-200 grams of protein? I'm 165 lbs anyway, so it's more than 1g/lb.
