mercury in seafood

I can remember a few years ago they were telling people to limit tuna due to mercury and that pregnant women shouldn’t mess with it. Is that still true today or did they clean the oceans up ? I like tuna a lot, so cheap to buy a can for $1 and eat that for lunch in a pinch

there is a LOT of mercury and heavy metals in seafood, for women and men
i wouldnt eat tuna until you have a budget issue

haha it is worse today with all the environmental damage we have done. limit canned tuna to once a week at most

the only way we can reverse this is by strenghtening our environmental laws and by reducing the human population

Unfortunately, oceans are not cleaner, but much dirtier, so no canned tuna for me

I avoid seafood unless its wild caught.

You would have to look into the regulations where you live on the allowable amount of mercury allowed in food.
