Is liver a good source of protein?

Thanks for the replies... I was talking about fesh beef liver that I can get real cheap at my butcher... however your posts have me thinking twice... is it good or not ... hummmmmm

Liver is not a food you want to eat everyday, but as a once a week meal it is a very good source of protein. Bererly Nut. has a very good desicated liver product...check it out!

chopped liver tastes good. but its high in fat....however, it is excellent for women due to its high iron content
