Is kimchi considered a healthy food ? My gf is korean and she loves the stuff. Should I be eating this regularly ?

According to google it seems to a very healthy food. Never eaten it but I'd definitely give it a shot if I had the opportunity.

Here's a list of different benefits it has:

Increased antioxidant status
Protection from asthma
Anti-aging properties
Anti-cancer benefits
Protection from atherosclerosis
Anti-constipation effects
Colon health promotion
Brain health promotion
Skin health promotion
Lowering of cholesterol and blood pressure
Weight management
Improved insulin sensitivity

it contains cabbage and garlic which are both tough on the digestion.

how do you feel after eating it? cooking cabbage makes it more digestive friendly.

also is she cooking it in coconut oil or real olive oil? if she is using veggie or sunflower oil then no it isn't healthy
