Keto: Blood Glucose still reading high; Type 2 Diabetes

How can someones blood glucose still be reading high if they have been on Keto for a week now? Additionally, KetoStix show a negative reading.

How many carbs a day are you taking in?
Are you doing it right? No, seriously..

When i diet down I take in less then 30 gms of carbs a day for the 1st 4 wks..

grams of carbs per day is 20 or less, Im not expecting to be in ketosis, just wondering why I still have high glucose readings.

My macros are in line with my RMR as tested on a MetaCheck Metabolic analyzer.
