Important to be eating organic?

Should we be eating organic foods as much as possible ? What is going on with food quality in the states?

Yes of course. There is nothing healthy in heavily processed foods.
Unfortunately getting such food is very difficult and also expensive unless you live on a farm and have your own cattle and land where to grow your stuff.

If you think about even the most organic stuff you can find on a supermarket, all of those products will go through some sort of handling process before they end up in the shelves.

pesticides cause cancer and they KILL. so when conventional produce is sprayed you not only run the risk of consuming pesticides but you also kill all of the nutrition from the produce.

now some smartasses will say all you have to do is wash the produce and you are good. well this is a lack of understanding of things are grown. the plants absorb and drink what is put on them, so that shit is going inside the produce regardless of how much you wash them.

our foods didn't get sprayed until the 70's in large amounts. this is in conjunction with the rise of cancer in the USA. hardly a coincidence.

so grow what you can yourself using organic practices or buy organic. they are NOT much more expensive and if you buy in season they are the same price.

I would advise eating clean overall but doing some research on your own can find out where all your food is coming from. Organic or not local stuff is better.
