When competing in push/pull meets I like to have 2 plain McD's double cheeseburgers after benching and about 2 hours before deadlifting.
At my last meet my folks were there and my Dad went for the food. He couldn't find a McD's so he brought back 2 Jack in the box Ultimate Cheeseburgers. I didn't set any personal records that day, and was lucky not to have blown out my colon.
