I usually get around 1500 Calories per day of nutrient dense foods

I practice Calorie Restriction With Optimal Nutrition
 
around 2000 calories a day,depending on how many times I get in the peanut butter and jelly jars with a spoon while sleepwalking =).

I don't open a new one every 4th day, maybe 12 or so ;-)

I go on 3500 cal for growing. Complex carbs, lot's of protein and
MCT oil - 'good' fats added here and there ED). I gain little fat with 3500.
I go on 2000 for cutting. Much less complex carbs, lot's of protein and
little MCT.
I started cutting about 6 weeks ago at 201 and now i'm 196 and 5'10"
So now +-2000 ED if you count the MCT oil in.
For cutting this works fine - for me. Weight is going back nice and slowly
and so is my BF%. I don't want to go below 6%, now at 8% I guess.
My face has to look healthy, not skinny like when I did competition :))
I got about 10 weeks to my next androgens insertion and want to
be at 6% again right when that starts. Then off course I switch back to
a higher calorie plan.

When bulking I was trying to hit 4500-5000 cals/day, and on that I still couldn't get past 218 at 5'11" and 14-15% bf...26 y/o. I'll start cutting soon and am unsure how much I should take in. I aim for 1.5gr protein/pound, and 80-120gr fat when bulking, the rest carbs.
 
2650-2800 right now... two days a week up to 3k...

i was at... GASP... 1850 for a long time...
 
6,000 ++

4000 from food, and another 2000 from 3 muscle milk shakes per day. I fight the urge to be small on a daily basis, lol.
