How many calories over maintenance do you go while bulking for lean mass on cycle?

While on juice how many calories over maintenance do you think is optimal to gain the most lean mass while keeping fat/bloat under control.

I am interested in calorie surplus while on a bulking cycle with the intention to gain solid lean mass (which is why I've posted it here and not in diet).

(p.s. sorry if this poll has been done before - but I've only ever seen "how many calories do you eat a day" polls which don't really explain how much over maintenance people are consuming)
 
I dont count, whenever you count, you generally end up not eating enough to grow
 
I don't count either but I imagine it's around 750 over.
 
It depends on your goals. BMR is weight x 12, AMR is weight x 15

To bulk, most bodybuilders start at weight x 18 and move up to 20-22.
 
I am an endo-mesomorph and I will do my first bulking soon , my BMR is 2400 cals , and I will be eating 3.000 cals , high protein , high carbs ( all low glycemic ) and low fat .

I am gonna guess that I lose at least 500 kcal with havy training , so that puts me with 2.900 cals for maintenance , so 3.000 cals are only 100 cals over .

I am pretty sure I will grow pretty well this way without packing any fat at all .

I agree with need size, when ever I count I always come up short... It;s better to just eat, eat , and eat, as long as it's the right food..Listen too your body...

If I don't count I won't eat nearly enough because I will use my stomach as a judge, which will always result in me coming up short.
