How long will the food last in the fridge?

Hello everybody. I don't have the time to cook food everyday, so I though of pre-cooking one day for the entire week. Do you think it is ok to store food in the fridge or freezer for that long?

If it is a freezer, you can store it there even for longer time. If you will store it in the fridge, then I would give it a day or two. Therefore, you can cook some food to be eaten in the first couple of days, which you can store in the fridge, and the rest you can keep it in the freezer.

After food is cooked, it should sit out at room temperature no more than two hours before being refrigerated to slow down bacteria growth. But once stored in the fridge, leftovers should be eaten up within three to four days because bacteria can still grow even at refrigerator temperatures.
