How to eat oatmeal while avoiding dairy??

Usually oatmeal with some milk or yogurt taste good, but if I´m avoiding dairy, is water the only way??
As you can see I´m not very creative with diets, hehe.....

I add a little sweet and low, some vanilla whey and some honey. Tastes great.

I think oatmeal is supposed to be cooked in water isn't it?

Dunno I always have mine uncooked in milk like cereal. w/ some banna protien powder.
