How do you weight the oatmeals?

When you are cooking your oatmeals, how do you calculate the mass for the calorie registration? Do you weigh the dry oatmeals before pouring the water in them, or you measure the already cooked ones? Thanks

I don't know about the others, but I measure the dry product. In the end of the day, all the additional mass the oatmeals get is just water. So there is no need to count for that as well.

(1/2 cup) of cooked steel-cut oats has 150 calories, 5 g protein, 27 g carbs, 2 g fat and 4 g fiber. One serving (1 cup) of cooked rolled oats has an extra gram of fat. One packet of plain instant oats has 100 calories, 4 g protein, 19 g carbs, 2 g fat and 3 g fiber.

K - thanks. Will measure the dry ones. I have a culinary scale, so I will measure exactly as much as I need to take in the morning.
