homemade drink during workout

I am making a low carb (below 100 grs) diet, 80% of the carbs are post workout.

i am thinking of trying some homemade carb drink during the workouts... would dextrose do the trick?

Any ideas?


P.S. I am not sure what would be better, if a preworkout or some carbs during the train...i will try first the carbs during workout but what is your opinion?

Heres what my pre, during and postworkout nutrition looked like when i was bulking and it worked very well for me. 1scoop was equal to 20 grams of protein(whey) and carbs(dextrose)

15-30 MINS. BEFORE workout- 1 scoop whey, 1scoop dextrose


During workout- Sipped one 1scoop whey and 1 scoop dextrose

Posr workout- 2scoops whey 3-4 scoops dextrose.

I had high eneergy and endurance w/ no crashes in blood sugar. Although, after awhile i got sick of sipping on a drink other than water during workout, so i dropped the one during and just added another scoop of dextrose to pre workout drink and still got great results.
