Excerpt: I'm going to be starting and brand new diet and really want to commit to it. My question is on my macros. How much fat, carbs, and protein should I be getting every day.. Also how much water should I be drinking. so let's say I'm 200 pounds to make it easy. Can you give me the breakdown of what I should be hitting every day.

Help me with my recomp diet

the easiest is to do a balanced diet for muscle recomp
40% protein 30% carbs 30% fat best combo

there is no rule on how much macros to get or water to drink
example: you work in lawn care in Georgia all summer you will need to drink more then someone who works in an office in canda

what is the purpose of counting macros? Just eat quality foods that are nutritious and you will be fine.

Yeah just eat high quality foods and you will be fine. Watch the sugar in your drinks.

Just eat good quality food in a 4-5 hour window and you are set.
