Gut Bacteria

I have read that one of the best things anyone can do is to add fermented food into your diet. Red sauerkraut is a game changer (glutamine, fibre, gut bacteria, etc.) and helps to fight off small intestine bacterial overgrowth. Do any of you guys eat alot of fermented foods?

okay so yes you are correct, most people out there can benefit from fermented foods/drinks. just make sure you are getting raw and unpasteurized sauerkraut for instance. don't buy the shit on the supermarket shelf.. it better be in the fridge and you better check ingredients

but the best solution in the first place is don't fuck up your gut health. this means eat less meat and more raw foods like fruits/veggies. also stay away from anti-biotics

if you don't fuck up your stomach in the first place you should never need to consume fermented anything

Sauerkraut is awesome. I also eat fermented pickles and kimchi on a regular basis.

The key is to make sure the products aren't pasteurized. If they are, they are heated to an extremely high heat and all the beneficial bacteria will be killed.

Fermented foods will be kept in the refrigerator section at the grocery store

Yeah you want to get naturally fermented and not processed because the stuff you see on shelves in your average grocery store are pretty terrible.
