Frozen veggies/fresh veggies?

I almost always use fresh veggies, but I have heard that either kind (frozen/fresh) is just fine, and has the same nutritional value-----but then I hear that fresh always is higher, anyone really know?

vegetables

it's more a matter of conveinience,

canned- (not so good) usually too high in sodium.
frozen- Great!
fresh - Marvelous!

Freezing does actually very little to the macronutrients. i find that people would be better suited getting in the right amount of vegetables and fibre.. than worrying about the source.

I usually don't have the luxury of eating for fun or taste while I am dieting. Canned or Boiled veggies work for me. If you are worried about vits and mins, take a multi-vitamin.

stir fry as basic as it gets! ;)

1. hot pan (saute pan) + cold oil
2. toss in veggies
3. add a little liquid (wine, broth or whatever you want)
4. season (your choice of herbs & spices)
5. simmer until veggies are tender (most of the liquid will evaporate)
6. eat

This is what ive heard

Ive heard that fresh veggies and frozen veggies have the same nutritional value, as for canned veggies they are bad news full of artificial stuff
