You mean foods high in glycemic index. All carbs are eventually broken down into sugars, how fast those sugars reach the blood stream and are metabolized, however, is called the clycemic index. It's basically how much insulin your body produces to deal with the sugar. Different sugars have higher glycemic indexes than others. For instance, fructose has a very low glycemic index while glucose has a high glycemic index.
