I want to food prep but do it the right way
I did a barbecue and we cooked chicken, steak, and beef, also we did some vegetables
after a couple days being in the fridge the food spoiled. especially the chicken it smells bad and I don't want to risk eating it
what are your strategies for food prepping and keeping the food from going bad

you should be able to keep meat in the fridge after cooking for 3-4 days no problem. i do it all the time

salt and black pepper are great for preservatives. rub them both on the meat and get those containers to seal them

i also use a vacuum sealer too especially for fish

i suggest you food prep and freeze the meals then can defrost in the microwave so they last longer
