Fibrous Carbs - Kidney Beans

1 cup of Kidney Beans has 40 grams of carbs. These beans are very high in Fiber though. I try and avoid mixing my fats with my carbs when i can help it to keep my insulin spikes down... Should I treat these carbs differently because they are very high in dietary fiber???

Nope, just subtract the fiber count from the total carb count, and use those carbs in your diet log.

total carbs-fiber=actual carbs
