i am assuming everyone on here agrees based on what i have researched that eggs are a very nutritious option for those of us who want to eat protein without meat. my question though is does anyone eat them raw or does everyone cook them? if raw do you eat the shell too? and if cooked how do you cook them?

you can eat them raw if they are fresh and the chickens are pasture and humanely raised

the eggs that have salmonella and other food borne illness bacteria are from chickens that are in cages or close quarters and sick and miserable.

WHERE you get your eggs are crucial !

Eggs are a staple for me. Loaded with good fats and protein. They keep me full for a long time too. I recommend cooking them.

Always cooked for me. Read that salmonella is not that common although still possible with uncooked but I wouldn't want to take the risk. Different with the occasional drink, though....
