Eggs....how much protein in white only

Ok guys I have done a search but nothing specific came up so my question is of a medium egg what percentage of the protein is in the white and what percentage in the yolk?

Yea, depending on the egg size, it's about 3 grams in the yolk, and 3 grams in the white.

usually an egg has 5 g in total but it all depends on the size of course

In a large egg I say 3 grams in the white and about 5 in the yolk.

Lg eggs have 3 g white / 3 g yolk 4.5 g fat 70 cal
X lg eggs have 4 g white / 3 g yolk 5 g fat 80 cal
Jumbo eggs 4 g white / 4 g yolk 5.5 g fat 90 cal

Take your pick. I like 4 whole eggs in the morning for breakfast. Nothing beats an omlete, protein shake and oatmeal to kick-start the day.

you can buy egg whites in cartons and measure them out... not sure if that helps any, just a point i thought i'd make
