the nutritional value will be lower anytime a vegetable is cut, preserved or put in a can.

you want to always consume fresh, local, and organic vegetables for maximum nutritional value

You’d be better getting frozen than tinned. Obviously nutritional value is always going to be compromised when convenience takes priority.

However there are plenty of studies out there proving that organic produce is no better than non-organic.

It's better than nothing but fresh or frozen definitely have more nutrients.

It may not be as good as fresh but it's not that big of a difference honestly

    Re: Eating vegetables

So I know a lot of people here disagree with this, but the scientific reality is cutting vegetables does not alter their nutritional value. Canning them in water does leach some vitamins though, so if you are eating canned vegetables and draining the water they were packed in, you are throwing away nutrients. The latter is not an issue for frozen vegetables.
