eating during workout?

What do you think about working out for 30 minutes, then eating a meal, and then doing 30 more minutes of training? I was listening to a podcast online and the guy was saying that it worked good for him to change that meal timing. Does it have any scientific backing?
 
i drink protein during workout and take 1 cap of ostazol
protein shake 40grams protein with creatine
 
the people who do that are over massed meatheads. a normal person should never eat during a workout. in fact do you ever see people doing that at the gym? how about during a sporting event? they aren't stopping the soccer game and setting up chairs and tables on the field and eating a thanksgiving feast are they?
