Drinking coffee with a straw to prevent staining teeth

Hey guys I didn't know where to post this so I put it here. I'm just wondering if using a straw helps you not stain your teeth. Im drinking a lot of coffee right now and don't want to stain

Maybe. Or you can stop drinking a 'lot of coffee' and I say that as a coffee lover.

this is a question for your dentist, they do have teeth whitening you can do when you get your teeth cleaned.

also other things stain teeth and wear down enamel like acidy foods and smoking etc.

The best thing you can do to prevent teeth staining from drinking coffee is to have a cup of water with your coffee. When you are done drinking the coffee, take a sip of water and swish it around in your mouth and spit it out. Just like you would do with mouth wash.

This will prevent the coffee from sitting on your teeth and staining your teeth enamel.

I really doubt a straw could help. This, unless you swallow the coffee right away, which is dumb. You need to feel the taste, and for that it will remain in your mouth, where it will contact with your teeth anyway....

It can help if you do it right. If you are that concerned then just stop drinking coffee though.
