Whats the deal with dried fruits? Are they the same as eating a regular fruit in terms of nutrition and all that ?

Nearly. And if Stevesmi is correct - just drink some water.

It really depends. If you want you can dehydrate fruits in your house, I do this and it is a delight, that is, in terms of vitamins, minerals and fibers you do not lose at all.

However, dried fruits have more carbohydrates in proportion compared to fresh fruits, since 100g of dehydrated papaya has more than 100g of fresh papaya. The volume of the dehydrated fruit is smaller, but the amount is larger.

As for the industrialized dried fruit you have to see the ingredients and the way of preparation.

The problem with dried fruit is that it has all the water removed so it's VERY calorie dense.

Dried fruit is ok if you are camping but for the vast majority of cases, fresh unprocessed fruit is best

It is the garbage that is usually added that isnt good. If you are cutting you will need to watch your consumption as they will be high in calories.
