Excerpt: I saw one of those commercials for those food dehydrators on TV and it looks so delicious seeing them dehydrate beef, fish, pork etcetera. have any of you try this and can you give me the nutritional benefits or not if it is a good idea. I'm salivating thinking of the different types of things I can do with this machine

    Dehydrating meat

    I saw one of those commercials for those food dehydrators on TV and it looks so delicious seeing them dehydrate beef, fish, pork etcetera. have any of you try this and can you give me the nutritional benefits or not if it is a good idea.     I don't know about dehydrating pork lol but I've done dehydrated beef it's dry like beef jerkey not bad at all
    I would prefer a crock pot instead slow cook

    when you dehydrate anything you are sucking out all the moisture which makes no sense. it can be fine for a snack here and there but basing your diet this way is a bad move and won't end well

    bro you don't need dehydrator. set up smoker in woods, use trunk of tree and hang meat on branches overnight.
