deca and foods containing sodium

Hi everyone I will be running deca and test and according to some bodybuilding articles deca creates high water retention and you have to stay away from foods with high contain of sodium or it'll make it worst, is that true?

Both deca and test are known to cause a lot of water retention. Truth be told though, if you are using the proper support supplements with your cycle, the water retention won't be too bad at all.

Remember to include the proper support supplements with your cycle:
1. An AI to keep estrogen in the low-normal range. Aromasin at 10mg EOD is a good dosage.
2. An anti-prolactin drug to keep prolactin in the low-normal range. Cabergoline at 0.25mg EOD is a good dosage.

The support supplements are very important because high estrogen and prolactin levels can lead to side effects like gyno and water retention.

Sodium is an extremely important electrolyte needed for muscle contractions. You don't want to consume an excessive amount of sodium but you don't want to eliminate from it your diet completely either.

the fact is deca aromatizes less than testosterone. when you stack both of them you get a lot of water retention. my advice is keep your testosterone dose LOW and your deca dose higher. deca is a mild compound while testosterone is more androgenic. the trick is also stacking proviron which is a DHT derivative and will help dry things out, but also you need to use aromasin from day 1 to prevent estrogen problems

remember nandrolones not only bind to DHT receptors but they also bind to progesterone receptors in the breasts. this makes deca a very dangerous steroid for those who have gyno problems

These are different things all together. The water retention from test and deca are due to aromatization into estrogen. That is different than eating too much salt. As long as you are running proper supports like an AI and anti-prolactin drug with the cycle, and consuming a gallon of water per day you will be fine. You will not eat too much salt unless you are eating boxed and prepared foods.
