are croissants something you can eat 2-3 times a week when dieting? some people say they pure bad butter and loaded with calories, I love them but also I'm trying to lose weight and I would like some info on this, thank you.

If you are dieting, croissants should be out of question. They are basically bread with lots of sugar. So to answer your question - no. Obviously, one per week won't hurt you all that much, but that would downgrade your diet and cause other temptations.

Croissants are just a fancy donut. It's a french pastry.

They are just as unhealthy as regular donuts. Full of sugar, refined flour and low quality oils.

They should not be a regular part of anyone's diet.

What you want to do is consider it a cheat meal and keep it to once per week. Also keep track of your calories that day so you can compensate in other areas. That will prevent you from adding unwanted weight.
