calories in donuts

as you all know dunkin donuts have displayed the info on how many calories each donut contains, I was wondering is it's accurate and is those type of calories can be consume as long as you don't over you caloric intake needed to lose weight.

According to the law, they should be displaying the real figures. However, they may be misleading, since calories are not everything that matters. In any case - these donuts can not fit in any sort of diet...

It is probably the worst cheat food you can eat. There will be a big insulin response from eating it. The cell will open up for the glucose to enter but also the fat will enter. People do not realize that insulin will also cause fat storage as well.

They are fairly accurate. By law, food labels are allowed a 20% margin of error so the real calorie content might be +/- 20% what is listed.

The thing is, WHAT those calories are comprised of is more important then how many calories the food contains.

Donuts - sugar and poor quality oils

Do you think 200 calories of donuts is going to be you the same physique as 200 calories of fruits and vegetables? Of course not
