just curious at what rate people here reduce their calories from a bulk to a cut.I read an article that recommends reducing 250 cals every week.At that rate thqat would take me months to just get to maintenance.
dont rush it bro. I did the same thing in reverse (went straight from a ckd to bulk) and gained 18 lbs in about 2 weeks, all water and fat. If you go straight from bulking to cutting you're gonna lose alot of hard earned muscle.
I've started atkins in an effort to get my bf% down; i wont be cutting cals since i'm sure i'll be eating less cals on this program unintentionally; we'll see how it goes...
your estimate of what you heard would be a good one...dont go too quick, you can even drop 500 a week safely, but make sure you keep your proteins very high and youre going heavy on your compound movements to maintain the most muscle possible.
