Breakfast can help you lose weight?

I am not going to delve into any of the medical or scientific research. It was boring when I read most of it. What I will share is my own experience. I was a hard-core "drink coffee go to work" kind of guy when I first started trying to lose weight. I was losing weight slowly, but my trainer at the gym kept telling me to start eating breakfast and I thought he was out of his mind. I did not want to add more calories.

When I hit a plateau in my weight loss, I finally submitted and started eating a decent breakfast each morning. I usually ate a little oatmeal, some fruit, and 3 to 4 egg whites. A few days after starting to eat breakfast, without any other changes, I broke off the plateau and started losing fat faster than any time during my diet. The bigger surprise was I actually gained slightly on muscle density while losing more fat.

I cannot guarantee it will work for you, but I suggest you at least try.
