Bodyfat calipers

Hi, ive just bought some digital bf calipers and i dont think the reading is accurate at all. It measured my bf as 6.8% which i am def not, since i can only see my abs when i flex.

The ones i have measure bf from 3 diff locations, upper, mid, lower and it takes an average.

There is very little skinfold thickness on my upper and lower body but quite a bit around my midsection, but i would still estimate it at around 12% maybe more.

has anyone else had false readings with calipers?

i hear ya man....i have digital ones too. it says i'm 4.6% body fat. i'm in good shape, but i still have a little fat over my bottom 2 abs.

I was going to get some calipers to but after researching them here and other places I decided they were to inaccurate. Your best bet is to go to a university and get it tested.
