Which is better at night, red meat or a slow digesting protein drink?

I was wondering which is better to have at night (which is slower digesting), red meat, or a slow digesting protein drink, like casein? Thanks.
 
Red meat is definitely slower digesting since it is a solid. I'd eat the red meat for dinner, and an MRP right before you go to bed.
 
if u cant have redmeat before bed do LeviathanX suggested or

have 2proteins + EFA to slow down absorption

or u can do a mix of protein
1/2cup cottage cheese,5eggwhites and 1table spoon natty pb
:) or 1cup Cottage cheese,make sure its low fat

:)
 
both are good as pre bed protein

and if you wake up in the middle of the night, a shake is certainly more convenient :D
