Basmati rice better than Brown rice for cutting?

Like the title says, I'm curious to find out if Basmati is better than brown rice while cutting? I've heard this from a few people and I can't see how it can be possible. Since I plan on cutting soon I want to be sure that I'm using the best rice available. Anyone have any input on this please?
