Baked potato vs. sweet potato...which is better?

WildGuy30 said:
Does it matter? Or is one better for cutting the other for bulking? Just curious.

sweet potatoes are lower on gi. Baked are more starchy, but it really depends on how your body responds. Sweet potatoes are "said" to be better for cutting, baked for bulking, just listen to your body.

If you want a legit answer, a sweet potatoe and a boiled reg. potatoe are pretty close in the glycemic index range.........yam is the way to go.......

No matter if you're bulking or cutting, yams are the way to go. I've always used yams when I cut up or am training someone for a show. I don't use yams as much though for bulking b/c I get tired of eating them constantly.

Yams are for babies. I eat regular potatoes in moderation when bulking and don't eat any when cutting.
