250 gm of protein for bulking

Guys do you think 250 gm of animal protein a day is enough to start bulking while lifting? I don't know why but most meal plans for bodybuilders I see online talk about 300-400
so this is kind of confusing, 300-400 maybe for huge pro body builders? thanks for your info.

Exactly that - 300-400 grams if for huge bodybuilders who use PED's. If you are not using the PED's, then 1-2 grams of protein per lb of body weight will be plenty. There is no need for more. If you are using PED's, double that figure to 3-4 grams per pound of body weight.

A good number to shoot for is:
1-1.5 grams of protein/pound of body weight for natural athletes
1.5-2grams of protein/pound of body weight for enhance athletes

Don't forget carbs/fats. If you are trying to gain weight, you want to take in lots of good quality carbs and fats along with the protein.

Check out this video I made on how to calculate your calorie, protein, fat and carb intake based on your goals -> https://www.evolutionary.org/forums...s/nutrition-101-carbs-proteins-fat-46427.html

A rough estimate to determine how many calories you need is to multiply your body weight (in pounds) by 15. That will give you the amount of calories needed to maintain your current body weight. If your goal is to gain weight, multiply your body weight by 17-18. If your goal is to loose weigh, multiply your body weight by 12-13.
For example, a 200 pound person would need 3000 calories to maintain his weight (200 x 15 = 3000).

Here is an example of a good quality lean mass diet:

I think in any case, 1-1.5g of protein per pound of bodyweight is plenty to grow on......assuming you finish in a caloric surplus and are training hard.
