    10 day water fast

    I've been reading about the benefits of a 10 day water fast, that it helps heal the body, cleanse it, as well as lose body fat rather rapidly. Has anyone tried it, or any comments about it? Thanks

    i've done many prolong fasts. the longest was 19 days. I just did a 7 day fast last month.

    the benefits are incredible especially for autophagy.

    everyone should be doing a prolong fast 1-2X per year if you want to maximize your health and improve your fitness.

    i've also published a guide to fasting which is in my signature that you can follow.

    my best advice if you want to prolong fast is never set a goal to go X amount of days.

    no it's not something i'm interested nor something i think i could do. i can barely go half a day without eating...

    your body will eat your muscle along with some fat, but best is lower caloric intake or intermittent fast...imo

    I think 10 days are much difficult. Before following any diet plan, must consider its all consequences on your body, and then try that.

    I fast for a month every year because of my religious belief, we fast for about 15 to 16 hours and workout during fasting have really amazing effects. I am currently fasting by the way. :-)
