when i should i carb up while on keto? I've been doing the keto diet for 1 week now and have been in ketosis since 3 days ago, I wanted to carb up this upcoming wednesday but i might wait till the weekend to do it right. concentration is good, energy is okay. haven't missed a workout yet. any input is helpful
 
how do you know you are in keto? the truth is you aren't really in keto

if you are doing a keto diet correctly though you are spiking your glucagon and lowering your insulin so that is good.

also are you really doing a keto diet? sounds to me you are simply doing a no carb diet and then carbing up to 'fire up your metabolism' this is the similar strategy of IIFYM or cheat meal eating. it is a classic way to spin your wheels forever
