Why is Heating Oil Still So Expensive?

My memory is not the greatest but it seems to me that gas is cheaper, or at the very least the same price it was this time last year.

Heating oil, however, is more than $0.10 over what it was at last year's highest.

Does anybody know why?

If you are going to heat with oil then buy a 2nd tank and buy in July.

Here's something for you....

"Over the bridge" gas has gone down 36 cents
On this side of the bridge it has remained the same - go figure - or actually that falls into the if you can get more for it - get more for it because people will pay more.

the "bridge" is local joke and not really a REAL bridge like getting in and out of NYC but more like "the other side of town".
