Personally, I think it's just fucked up humans. As sick as our Western Society is today, I think we are closer to what could intended than the radical Muslim society.

No, but I do see nuclear weapons being used in the next three years. For it to be considered WWIII it would have to be a drawn out war. I think that instead there will be a couple smaller countries who decide the time is right to settle old scores and remind the world of the horrors of nuclear weapons.
