Hell yeah
just got back from the US vs Japan WBC game
US won 4-3, A-rod hit a bases loaded single in the 9th, with two outs, to win it.
Japan had the bases loaded with 1 out in the 8th and got a sacrifice fly to get the go ahead run, but the US tagged the base and it was ruled that the Japanese guy left the base early. I haven't seen the replay 'cause ESPN is only covering college b-ball crap, but one of the ushers working at Angels stadium said he saw the replay and the call was wrong. Japan refused to take the field for like 5 minutes, the crowd booed them when they finally came out. Controversy, tainted win, I love it! It'll only make the rest of the games more exciting.
