Stretching 2-3 hours after workout

Never been one to stretch much but I have now decided incorporate some basic stretching. I read somewhere that it would be good to stretch the worked muscles like 3 hours after the workout. Are the muscles still considered 'warm' at this point or should they be warmed up again?
 
hm, basically you SHOULD stretch right after yu workout. But if we are talking about stretching to improve your range of movment, then this should be done on days with little or none weight training.

But as to the warming up, just stretch slowly and carefully and you will stretch the muscles warm.

Reports out say stretching does not aid in recovery. I was shocked to read the truths on stretching.
