I dont know...I am not so much for being all conservative, but I think a lot of american women are expecting special treatment, instead of being nice wifes and accept the role of a women (whith which they will get even more attention and love and presents from their husbands just for taking care of them). We all know men are just babies that want to be pampered all the time, they just wont admit it.
